Digital education at TUMO Germany

The entrepreneurial couple Sam and Silva Simonian wanted to promote digital education for young people in Armenia. TUMO is named after the nickname of the Armenian national poet Tumanyan. The concept is now also expanding in Germany: thanks to KfW's initiative, there are already TUMO centres in Berlin, Mannheim , Hirschaid, Lüdenscheid, Essen and Saarbrücken. The seventh TUMO center will open in Frankfurt as early as the beginning of 2026..

TUMO, the digital learning centre, opened in Berlin in the middle of the "soft" lockdown. Adapted to pandemic conditions, 12 to 18-year-olds can now learn online how creative programming works.
