Cross-Task Environmental Protection
As a promotional and development bank acting on behalf of the German federal government and the states (Laender), KfW Bankengruppe is also under a particular obligation to protect the environment.
In the area of environmental protection, KfW Bankengruppe has laid down eight principles for itself according to which it operates. Environmental protection is a task which affects our entire institution, and this is taken into account by our Environmental Management System. KfW Bankengruppe has prepared reports on the environment and publications on environmental protection which can be found on the list of environmental publications.
