Flight and integration

The fight against the causes of flight and the integration of refugees are among the most important tasks of our time. On the occasion of World Refugee Day on 20 June, we will show how this can be achieved and what contribution KfW is making.

School in exile

Refugee teachers are teaching refugee children as Syrians in Turkey help themselves. Voluntary teachers are improvising schools. On behalf of the German Federal Government, KfW is supporting the UN's Children's Fund UNICEF in providing education in refugee camps.

The project received the 2017 Special Impact Award in the ”ANKOMMER Perspektive Deutschland“ category. Our video shows the prize winner.
