Rampant pessimism is spreading to Germany’s SME sector
Negative economic news continued to roll in at the start of the year 2019. The business climate of small and medium-sized enterprises exhibited an unusually sharp drop. But this is solely because companies are much more pessimistic about the coming half year. SMEs’ concerns are understandable as their consistently positive economic development thus far is being increasingly threatened by a number of global risks.
