    KfW at COP31 in Antalya

At the COP31 (Conference of the Parties) in Antalya, Türkiye (9 to 20 November 2026), representatives from government and non-governmental organisations, economic and financial institutions, as well as from civil society and the academic community, will discuss measures to combat climate change.

The main aim is, as the ‘COP of implementation’ and the ‘COP of the future’, to translate global climate commitments into concrete action and to refine the national climate targets (NDCs).

KfW, acting as a responsible bank, will be taking part with a delegation comprising members of the Executive Board and representatives from various business divisions. Whilst there, KfW will sign a series of financing and loan agreements that promote climate and environmental protection. The focus will be on promoting sustainable urban mobility and renewable energy.

Furthermore, KfW will play an active role in panel discussions, specialist events, presentations and other occasions. The COP will also serve as a forum for direct dialogue with key partner countries and organisations.

What is KfW doing at COP31?
