KfW improves support for cooperative housing

  • The maximum loan amount will increase from EUR 100,000 to EUR 150,000.
  • The repayment bonus will double from 7.5 to 15 per cent and is now a maximum of EUR 22,500.
  • The changes take effect on 3 February

From 3 February, KfW will improve the promotion of the purchase of cooperative shares for self-occupied housing: The maximum loan amount will increase from EUR 100,000 to EUR 150,000. At the same time, the repayment bonus is increasing from 7.5 to 15 per cent and will in future be a maximum of EUR 22,500.

Loan 134 supports the acquisition of cooperative shares – both for the initial purchase and for the subsequent acquisition of additional shares if these are required for personal use. All associated costs for new constructions and existing buildings are supported.

The regular call-off period will be 12 months in future. Unused loan amounts are automatically extended by up to 24 months without the need to apply.

The new factsheet is valid from 3 February and is now available on the KfW Partner Portal (in German).
