Untouched nature, unique wildlife: The Galapagos Islands are a tourist magnet. However, the fragile ecosystem can quickly become unbalanced. KfW therefore supports projects to protect the islands and their inhabitants. Our dossier shows, for instance, how local power plants can produce clean energy and how indigenous species can be saved.
