Dr Janina Jänsch appointed member of the Supervisory Board of KfW Capital

• Dr Jänsch, Head of the SME department at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, will join the Supervisory Board of KfW Capital

Dr Janina Jänsch, Head of the SME department at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, has become the newest member of the Supervisory Board of KfW Capital. After joining the new government and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, she is the second representative of the Federal Government on KfW Capital’s Supervisory Board alongside Dr Eva Wimmer, Director General Financial Markets Policy at the Federal Ministry of Finance. Dr Sabine Hepperle, former Head of the SME Policy department at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, resigned from her Supervisory Board mandate in June of this year.

said Dr Jörg Goschin, Chief Executive Officer of KfW Capital, who has been at the helm of KfW Capital’s Management Board alongside Alexander Thees.

The Supervisory Board of KfW Capital is made up of seven members: two representatives of the Federal Government (Dr Janina Jänsch as representative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and Dr Eva Wimmer as representative of the Federal Ministry of Finance), three representatives from the VC sector (Andreas Haug, Dr Judith Kölzer-Söding, Dr Maximilian Zimmerer) and two representatives of KfW’s Executive Board (Stefan Wintels as Chair and Dr Stefan Peiss as Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board).
