Melanie Kehr starts today, 1 May 2025, as KfW’s Executive Board member for domestic promotion
As of today, 1 May 2025, Melanie Kehr (50) will take responsibility for domestic promotional business as part of KfW’s Executive Board. In addition to this new function, she will retain her previous responsibility as Executive Board Member for IT and Operations at KfW until a successor has been appointed for these departments.
Melanie Kehr is replacing Katharina Herrmann (56), who was previously responsible for domestic promotion, and who left KfW by mutual agreement and at her own request on 30 April 2025.
Melanie Kehr was first appointed as a Member of the Executive Board of KfW Group on 1 March 2019. In the years that have followed, she has initiated KfW’s agile transformation starting from IT, focusing on the establishment of new digital and efficient processes for the promotional business.
