Dr Velibor Marjanovic appointed to the Management Board of KfW IPEX-Bank

Personnel changes are being made at management level at KfW IPEX-Bank: its shareholder KfW has appointed Dr Velibor Marjanovic to the Management Board of KfW IPEX-Bank effective 1 May 2022. He will be responsible for the industry sectors.

Dr Velibor Marjanovic has been with KfW since 2005, holding positions as First Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Senior Vice President of Group Development and Economics for several years, where he reported directly to KfW’s CEO. In 2019, he joined KfW IPEX-Bank, where he held senior positions in Credit Risk Management and was most recently responsible for business operations in the field of Power and Environment. In August 2021, he was appointed General Manager of KfW IPEX-Bank.

“We are extremely pleased to have found in Dr Velibor Marjanovic a manager with a broad range of expertise, whose experience and skills will be an excellent addition to the management of KfW IPEX-Bank," said Christiane Laibach, who is a member of the Executive Board of KfW Group and responsible for the export and project finance business conducted by KfW IPEX-Bank. “In his responsibility for the industry sectors, Dr Velibor Marjanovic will focus on supporting KfW IPEX-Bank's customers in their transformation in the priority areas of energy efficiency, renewables and the use of hydrogen.”

Dr Velibor Marjanovic is succeeding Management Board member Markus Scheer, who had already retired as planned in mid-March after many years of successful service with KfW IPEX-Bank, including 15 years on the Management Board.
