KfW Board of Supervisory Directors extends contract of KfW Executive Board Member Melanie Kehr
The KfW Board of Supervisory Directors has appointed Melanie Kehr as a member of KfW’s Executive Board for five more years until 31 August 2027. The Chair of the KfW Board of Supervisory Directors, Federal Minister of Finance Mr Christian Lindner, and the Deputy Chair and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Dr Robert Habeck, issued this statement following the meeting of the KfW Board of Supervisory Directors on 16 December 2021.
Melanie Kehr (47) was first appointed to the KfW Group Executive Board on 1 March 2019. She is responsible in particular for Information Technology and Transaction Management as well as Central Services within the group. Ms Kehr has established stability in KfW’s IT over the past years – a crucial foundation for the promotional business. Specifically, she initiated KfW’s agile transformation from IT, which was a key factor in the success of the 2020 coronavirus aid programmes.
