KfW and Deutsche Leasing sign global loan agreement for sustainable leasing investments

  • EUR 200 million to promote small and medium-sized enterprises and larger SMEs
  • Attractive leasing conditions for sustainable and climate-friendly investments from January 2026

As part of the "Sustainable ERP Global Loan Leasing” programme, KfW and Deutsche Leasing are to sign a global loan agreement in the amount of EUR 200 million for selected sustainable and climate-friendly lease finance business. Under the promotional programme, leasing companies and banks receive global loans, which they use to promote German small and medium-sized enterprises through lease and hire purchase financing.

The promotion is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises as well as larger SMEs. They benefit from more attractive leasing conditions for sustainable investments. Investments in movable goods financed by leasing or hire purchase, such as systems and machines that improve energy efficiency or reduce CO2, as well as investments in all-electric, hydrogen cell and fuel cell vehicles will be eligible for funding.
