Important change to the ERP StartGeld start-up loan
The ERP StartGeld start-up loan is being temporarily suspended for non-profit companies. Applications received after 12 February can no longer be approved. This is due to the decision of the German Bundestag on the ERP Economic Planning Act of 30 January, which does not provide for the promotion.
The loan remains open for start-ups, self-employed professionals and new businesses for up to five years after they started their business activities. Small commercial enterprises are also eligible to apply. All eligible applicants can apply for a loan of up to EUR 125,000 via their regular bank. KfW assumes 80% of the costumer credit risk for the regular bank. Investments and running costs are promoted.
