KfW in 2022 again remains the "world's safest bank". For the fourteenth time in a row, the US finance magazine Global Finance declared KfW the “World's Safest Bank”.

KfW once again confirmed its leading position among the 500 largest banks worldwide. The ranking of the Global Finance magazine is based on the evaluation of long-term credit ratings from Standard & Poor’s, Moody’s and Fitch, and on the total assets of the banks.

The award was presented on 15 October 2022 at the Annual Meetings of the IMF/ World Bank Group in Washington D.C.
