Melanie Kehr takes up position as General Manager at KfW
Melanie Kehr (43) joined KfW Group as the new General Manager on 1 September 2018. Before joining KfW, Ms Kehr had been Chief Information Officer (CIO) of BayernLB's Information Technology Division since 2014. After successfully completing the phase as General Manager, she will then be appointed to KfW's Executive Board.
The Board of Supervisory Directors decided to establish a separate responsibility for IT on KfW's Executive Board last year. This role will be assumed by Ms Kehr. In Ms Kehr, KfW has gained a recognised expert with many years of experience in the IT operations involved with banking, who will make a key contribution to sustainable KfW information technology.
