Business Survey 2016 – Summary
Financing climate better than ever – financing purpose is major determinant of credit access
This was the fiveteenth occasion on which KfW Group, in collaboration with 21 business associations, conducted a company survey on the subject of bank behaviour and financing.
The most important results:
• The financing climate is steady at an all-time high. Low interest rates, enterprises' enhanced self-financing capacity and good business performance have contributed
• Small and young enterprises, however, still face major constraints in accessing credit
• Credit remains difficult to obtain for innovation, digitalisation and international projects
