TTIP from the perspective of developing and emerging countries
In the debate over the EU-US Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership TTIP, opinions are divided on the impacts on developing and emerging countries (DCs/ECs). Proponents of the TTIP anticipate improved export opportunities for DCs/ECs. Critics doubt this and complain that the heavyweights EU and USA will use TTIP to curtail the regulatory scope of DCs/ECs.
