Eurozone grows as Lithuania joins
The currency union retains its appeal, as demonstrated by Lithuania's accession to the eurozone on 1st January 2015. This not only shows that the eurozone is an attractive club to belong to even after the crisis, but also that the institutions created during the crisis have become fully accepted. Lithuania will benefit from its euro membership, but the country is also a gain for the currency union.
