Japan has not (yet) failed
The Japanese economy slipped into recession after the VAT increase. The country is set for new elections. What economic options does Japan have left to bring public debt under control?
Structural reforms can help raise real growth. Yet these strategies are hampered for demographic reasons. This is why Japan also needs reflation. We think, it is premature to declare failure of Abenomics. Japan still has time.
