Brazil – needs to close the gap on world class infrastructure
Economic activity in Brazil is currently weak with inflationary tendencies. This means structural problems such as insufficient investment, particularly in transport infrastructure, are coming to the fore again. Even though the government is increasing its efforts in this regard, this is still not enough also because of the many years of neglect. The dominance of goods transportation by road is an additional problem. Better infrastructure would facilitate business activity in Brazil and increase its growth potential.
