Regional faces of Germany’s SMEs: a state-by-state comparison
Germany's business landscape shows astonishing regional peculiarities. This is confirmed by the new KfW SME Atlas 2018, which provides previously unknown insights into the regional diversity of the SME sector. On the basis of the representative KfW SME Panel, the KfW SME Atlas presents the first comparative structural overview of the differences and commonalities of small and medium-sized business activity by federal state for the years 2012 to 2016. The KfW SME Atlas thus provides a comprehensive information resource for interested members of the business and research community and for economic policymakers.
