Financing situation better than ever – structural problems continue to affect small and new enterprises
This was the fourteenth occasion on which the KfW Group, in collaboration with 21 business associations, conducted a company survey on the subject of bank behaviour and financing.
The most important findings were as follows:
- Low interest rates, greater ability to self-finance and economic recovery push financing climate to all-time high
- Structural problems continue to hinder access to loans for small and recently-formed enterprises
- Room for improvement with regard to ratings communication
