“kununu” is one of the leading employer review platforms and gives employees, former employees, trainees, and job applicants the opportunity to rate the company in terms of work environment and benefits. KfW was awarded the “Top Company” and “Open Company” seals by kununu because it places great importance on presenting the company authentically.­

FKI diversity for success supports companies in the area of diversity management, assists with the implementation of effective diversity measures, and measures success through a comprehensive analysis of relevant data. KfW has been working with FKI since 2023 and has been included in the index.

The index score provides insight into how successful KfW is in the area of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion compared to other companies. Through this indexing, KfW aims to promote a fair and attractive work environment for all employees and is paving the way toward an open, fair, and inclusive corporate culture.

In 2019, KfW joined the nationwide fathers’ network conpadres to support men in balancing work and family life. The conpadres fathers’ network connects companies and offers insight into existing networks of other partner companies. Drawing on its networking expertise, conpadres collaborates with KfW to facilitate connections through presentations, webinars, and workshops. In addition, it serves as an expert advisor on fostering a new culture of worklife balance.­

Every year, JUVE-Verlag presents the 100 most attractive employers for lawyers. KfW’s Legal Department has been recognized four times in this ranking, including as one of two top employers in Hesse and one of two top employers in banking and finance law in Germany. KfW stood out, among other things, for its comprehensive training program and the intensive onboarding of new employees. The wide range of continuing education opportunities was also highly regarded, such as the in-house certificate program on management topics in cooperation with Bucerius Law School and the extensive catalogue of seminars on banking topics and soft skills training. In addition, the bank’s comprehensive work-from-home and part-time options, as well as offerings such as the employee daycare centre and the partnership with PME Familienservice, were recognised.

The KfW banking group has joined the myAbility talent program, thereby committing to providing students with disabilities with equal opportunities for a career start.

The career program is aimed at students with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Through this partnership, KfW gives students the opportunity to network and gain exciting insights into the day-to-day work of KfW employees. Furthermore, through this partnership, KfW aims to raise employee awareness of inclusion in the workplace and establish points of contact. In doing so, KfW is paving the way toward an inclusive corporate culture.

KfW sets an example of social responsibility and promotes a fair work environment: Employees are treated equally regardless of gender, background, or other characteristics. The FPI certification is a recognized seal of quality for establishing fair and transparent compensation structures. KfW has received the Bronze Fair Pay Analyst certification, which underscores KfW’s commitment to equal opportunity and nondiscriminatory pay. In addition, as part of the pay equity analysis conducted by the consulting firm Lurse, KfW received the Lurse pay equity certificate for an adjusted pay gap of less than 5%.­

As part of an external audit of its workplace health management program, KfW has been awarded the corporate health seal of excellence. In addition, we received the corporate health award in the “mental health” category for our efforts in the area of mental health—a strong testament to our commitment to the well-being of all employees.
